Partnership

With WeTrain, the partnership contributes to fostering gender equality – with a focus on adult education.

To this end, the BGZ has combined a variety of perspectives within the project partnership.

The selected countries – Germany, Italy and Poland – differ in terms of their focus and positioning of adult education and in terms of social participative structures for women. The partners have in-depth expertise on topics such as gender, inclusion, sustainability, digitalisation in adult education and knowledge of current EU strategies and action plans.

The partnership is also a platform for mutual learning in the tandems and in the project network. The diversity of actors involved, also beyond the “typical adult educators” provides additional expertise and capacities for the further development of adult education in the EU.
